Birdie is a wonderful doe, arguably one of my favorite does I've ever had. She is the sweetest most gentle doe I've ever had and loves to be in the show ring. Birdie has beautiful general appearance and passes it on to her kids. She is only a second freshener, but so far has had a beautiful udder, mostly. My main dislike about Birdie is her teat placement, I hoped it would improve in her second freshening. Even though her teat placement did not improve, other aspects of her udder did. As much as I would like to see better teat placement on her, I will not be selling her any time soon, as I believe it can be corrected in her offspring and I love everything else about this doe. As stated before, she loves to be shown and be in the show ring. This makes her a perfect showmanship doe, and she has passed her sweet, loving, laid back personality onto her kids. If there is one thing I don't like it is a mean goat I constantly have to battle with, and Birdie is the opposite of that. I look forward to seeing her 2021 and 2022 daughters, Star Valley's Mary Jane and Star Valley's Black Swan, freshen this spring.
