Deeds... where do I even begin with this buck. I originally inquired about purchasing Deeds because of how much I admire his beautiful dam, Naughty List, I also have a stellar homebred doe who's sire is a paternal half brother to Deeds (Feyre Cursbreakr), so I knew I liked what both sides of his pedigree had to offer. Aside from the huge honor it was to just be able to purchase him, he is just a wonderful buck to have around. He is a very sweet boy who I don't see leaving our herd anytime soon. On top of all of that he is my favorite color and carries my second favorite color, what more could a girl ask for!
As for his structure and his kids, Deeds himself is lovely and passes many of those great traits onto his kids, which is exactly the reason I brought him into my herd. The main reason I brought him in is his depth of body and his beautiful wide rump. He also has a nice topline and from what I've seen, as I haven't seen him shaved yet, has a nice brisket as well. Along with all of this he still maintains that wonderful "dairy-ness" that I love to keep in my herd. I am very excited to see his daughters freshen as his female relatives are some very well appraising does with great udders and lots of milk. The best traits he passes to his kids has been his amazing width in the hips and pins as well as his beautiful correct leg set. Finally, the cherry on top is his nice wide muzzle that he loves to pass on, heads are usually a trait overlooked in dairy goats (something that I have been guilty of overlooking as well) so it is refreshing to see kids hit the ground with these lovely, wide muzzles.
Not much that I would change about this buck honestly. One thing that comes to mind is maybe a bit more uphill angle to his topline and I would like some of his daughters to be a bit more feminine. I will likely think of more once I am able to clip him this summer.
